Mushrooms and their recipes

Oyster mushroom

Mushroom Pulled Pork

Ingredients: King Oyster Mushrooms, Spices ( i.e Smoked Paprika, Salt, Cayenne), Bbq sauce (We recommend sweet baby rays bbq sauce.)

What You Do: Clean and shred mushrooms. Douse mushrooms in oil and preferred spice combination and throw them in the oven for 20 minutes or until mushrooms are a little crispy and brown on the edges.Saute and add Bbq sauce to the mushrooms, let them saute for 3-5 minutes or until the texture is thick and fragrant. Then take them out and enjoy!


Fried Oyster Mushrooms

Ingredients : Flour, An Air fryer (Preferred) or deep fryer, Buttermilk, Spices ( To Your Liking).

What You Do: Marinate mushrooms in buttermilk for tenderness. Bread them in all-purpose flour and spice blend and add a little more buttermilk. Cook mushrooms in preferred heating method (i.e Air Fryer, or frying pan. Air-Fryer is preferred.) Cook them until they're golden and crispy. Let them cool and enjoy!


Teriyaki oyster steak.

Ingredients : Coconut oil (Or any preferred oil), Teriyaki sauce,Cornstarch,Garlic powder, Black Pepper,and Salt.

What You Do: To Turn teriyaki sauce into a marinade you need to heat it over medium/high heat with cornstarch until it thickens it shouldn't take longer than a couple minutes. Heat up cast iron skillet on medium high heat, then add coconut oil. keep mushrooms as flat as possible. Fry the mushrooms for 8-10 minutes on each side. use half of the allotted garlic powder on both sides.


Lions mane

Lions Mane steak

Ingredients: 1 large mushroom, 2 Tbs of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 Tbs of soy sauce, 1 Tsp of balsamic vinegar, 1 Tsp of smoked paprika, salt and pepper to taste, rosemary.

Cooking: slice lions mane mushroom into steak like pieces approximately one inch thick. In a bowl mix all ingredients, coat the mushrooms in the marinade and let them sit for 15-20 minutes. Heat a skillet over a medium high heat. Let them cook for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown.

Pan fried lions mane

Ingredients:  1 Lb of lions mane,1 egg, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 tsp paprika, 2 tsp dried basil, 1 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp ground pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 3-6 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking (or fat of choice). For The dip: 2 tbsp mayo, and 2 tbsp of ketchup.

Cooking:  in a bowl mix the egg and milk in another bowl combine the flour with the all purpose dried seasonings. dip each slice of mushroom into egg mixture and dredge in flour. fry in pan over medium 

Pan fried lions mane continued

Heat , add 1-2 tbsp of oil to the skillet and move it around. place dredged mushroom pieces into the skillet, do not overcrowd the pan. lower the heat to low and tilt the pan around to spread the oil around the pan and then cook the mushrooms for 3-5 minutes each side. remove the fried mushrooms from the skillet and place them on to a clean paper towel. repeat steps until all of the mushrooms are cooked, do not reuse oil. mix together ketchup and mayo to make a dip for your mushrooms.

Lions mane mushroom omelette

Ingredients: 2 large eggs, lionsmane mushrooms diced to small 1/4 cup, diced ham 1/3 cup, shredded colby jack cheese 1/3 cup.

Cooking: preheat griddle to medium low to medium heat. small bowl whip eggs together for a fluffy omelet add a tbsp of milk. preheat a dry griddle and saute mushrooms until golden brown. cook diced ham while mushrooms are brwoning. combine mushrooms and ham together on the griddle. place desired layer of grease on grill. pour shipped eggs on to greased hot grill. when eggs

Lions mane mushrooms omelette continued

stop running add ham and mushrooms into the egg frying griddle. cook the omelette for about two minutes each side. when the ham and mushroom is cooked on one side its time to flip, carefully flip the omelette over. add half of the shredded cheese on to one half of the omelette. once the mushroom ham and cheese omelette is cooked flip the non-melted cheese side on to the melted cheese ham and mushroom side.
